Soulja Boy vs. Charles Hamilton....Beef???
So in a recent interview, the people over at this is50.com called Charles Hamilton the "next Soulja Boy" and went on to compare him to Soulja Boy. Not to say that there is anything wrong with Soulja Boy...well??? *coughs* but yea you have to respect the boys hustle which is one thing I do give Soulja Boy and the fact that he makes music that correlates to his lifestyle and that is also "Fun" despite some ignorant things that he may say, but everyone has their pros/cons. Back to what I was talking about as you an imagine though Charles Hamilton got offended, seeing as though him and Soulja Boy have two EXTREMELY different styles not just as arist but people...but that's just the gist of it. Remember This Man...
...the Crooner with the smooth voice, straightbacks, and long before Trey Songz. Yes, I'm sure you do. It's D'Angelo, he recently released his first single via Itunes and apparently he "Found His Smile Again" Thank Goodness because I couldn't take anymore bad news about this man. So far, he's worked Raphael Saadiq, Q-Tip, and Roy Hargrove on his album slated for a 2009 release on J.Records. Looks like 2009 is going to be a good year for music! A much needed ressurection, maybe?? Anywhom, for memories sake....

Created by UK-Based Fashion Icon Carri Mundane of Cassette Playa. The Cassette Playa Blazers were first created for her Spring/Summer 2008 "Future Primative" runway show, a show that was inspired by Carri’s concept of “urban shamanism.” As Carri explains it, “urban shamanism” a way of thinking that is summarised in her unique style for the season – “Ancient Amazonian hunting rituals adapted by a gang of skaters in a post apocalyptic city”. The Cassette Playa Blazer will be available at the Nike Sportswear 1948 store at Bateman’s Row, Shoreditch and select Nike Sportswear retailers. For NYC, the release is taking place on Saturday, December 20th at Nike Sportsware at 21 Mercer Street. Stay tuned for more details to follow! As for us unfortunate folks who don't live in London or NYC, i'm sure they will be online somewhere for us to grab a pair.

I don't know what to think about these, it's bad enough that womens shoes are so limited and it's a lil' harder for us to find sizes in mens shoes but now they made the shoes SKINNY?!?! oooh wee! First skinny jeans, now skinny shoes, what next? All that aside though these shoes are NICE, and specially made for the woman silhouette! NO more clunky shoes!

Nike Air Yeezy Release Update
These shoes are a BIG mystery to all that know, an official release date has never really been stated! But after seeing these shoes at countless events, and in different colors I AM TIRED of all the mystery...its KILLING me! Anyways I heard through the grapevine, that it was originally slated for a March 2009 release, but has been pushed back to an April 2009 release. We'll see in 09' if the grapevine was lying or not..huh?

A Black James Bond?? Speak on IT...
So today on one of the very few days that I indulge in the tele, it just so happened that it was on 106 & Park....Jamie Foxx as the guest host and P.Diddy stopped by as the suprise guest, he stopped by to advertise his new cologne I Am..KING(free advertisment: must be nice) which by the way smells quite delightful! So in true Diddy fashion he had some intresting things to say...He stated that his commercial/mini-movie was his "audition" tape for the role of the black James Bond, which he spent 750,000 dollars on. Talk about TRYING HARD! Rumor has it though that there are already in talks for creating a black James Bond movie, especially with the election of the first black president and all. Who do you think they're looking at to play this coveted role?? Not Diddy, but the gorgeous and great Idris Elba. Plus, I can imagine the fact that he's a Brit gives him the upper hand on getting the role. So what are your thoughts?? Speak!

Feeling tooo COOL..
Sooo I had a very interesting morning. As some of you may or may not know I was the queen of smoothies. I worked at Jamba Juice, Yum right! Anyways on to my story for whatever reason my former boss decided he wanted to snatch ya girl off the schedule. So I walk into work one day walk to the back look at the schedule and my name isnt on there, so im like cool whatever. Hated the job anyway. So yesternight, I get an odd craving for a smoothie, I go in and everyones like do you not work here anymore, blah blah blah, and then one girl says I cldve sworn I saw your name on the schedule, so I go back and check and OH behold my name is on the schedule...to work the next day at 6am! Not only was I not told I was off the schedule I was not told that I was but on the schedule. So I go home try and get some studying in (finals are right around the corner and they are gonna be a biotch but no stress over here), end up going to Wally World to pick up some necessities and end up buying toothpaste, toilet roll(well wipes...tmi? maybe), granola bars, and the movie P.S I Still Love You which caused me to cry like a baby while watching it. I keep getting sidetrack sheesh! Back to the story, so I go to bed at like 1ish and wake up at 5...take a shower, brush my toothes, etc go out in the cold (it was 46 friggin degrees), get in my car, and start to drive to my FORMER place of employment as I get closer and closer I start to ask myself "Why the hell are you going there" I circle around the block like 5times and then finally TOOK MY ARSE HOME! So to conclude the story as of 6:15am I quit my job and might I say a great feeling which was so indescribable came over me..WHEW! I needed that so now ya girl is officially jobless, but I have my dignity and HAPPYNESS, right? My HAPPYNESS is my SANITY!
Moral of the story: Never allow yourself to be at anyones beck and call!! they should never feel they're IRREPLACEABLE! (had to do it)
